Saturday night we went to the BYU game with our good friends- Kyle, Crystal, Trey, and Kajsa. BYU lost but it was a fun night.

Monday night we went to the JAZZ game with Melanie and Kris! It was such an exciting game. Utah was down the whole game until the 4th quarter and then they pulled through!

Basketball has kept us busy..along with everything else

This weekend was a dream.
Brice and I drove down to St. George Friday afternoon after school and work. We  I carbo-loaded at Olive Garden with lasagna, salad, and too many bread-sticks! We headed over to the EXPO and picked up my bib! Bib number 3964. After dinner and the Expo we headed over to the Condo and felt like we walked into a dream. The condo belongs to some friends of the Wrights that just happen to be one of the owners of Tai-Pan Trading. Loved the king size bed and everything else cute and cozy. Finished the night with candy and Skip-Bo!
Saturday morning we got up and ready for the race. It stared at 9:00 am on the dot. My goal was to finish around 1:35. My last half-marathon last October was 1:44. PR? The route was filled with hills, it drizzled and then poured rain, and I came in right on the dot 1:35:22. I was so excited when results went up and I was 2nd in my division and 18th woman overall.

At mile 11 I was totally surprised when I saw my parents there with Melanie, Kris, and Brice. It made my day and they had water and rolos for me. Not a good mid-race snack by the way :)
The rest of the day was spent eating Smashburger, attending the temple, hot-tubing, and more games with the Wrights. I'm so grateful for this last weekend and the opportunity to run well and be spoiled by family!
Now were back in town and really looking forward to a busy week of school, jobs, internships, and everything else that keeps us busy! -Breann

My last post was the day before the new semester started... the day before things got kinda crazy around here! I am a full-time student, working 20 hours a week at an internship, teaching Pilates at BYU twice a week, running like crazy, and trying to cook, clean, and nurture my husband. Brice is staying busy, but has a little more free time. He's busy with school, working twenty hours a week and watching "Moonshiners."

I am not trying to complain-our life together is wonderful, but I literally feel like I am running in circles. I have school or work at 7:00 AM everyday, and don't get home until 6 or 7 PM each night. Running the same routine. I have been running ten to twelve miles straight on a treadmill, because I'm not allowed to run at night alone..that's 40 to 48 laps. Circles. I have been running in a lot of circles.

We are busy. Life is good. Money is tight. I believe things will work-out. I look forward to the new year.
96 miles run already..1916 left to reach my 2012 for the year.

Woke up at  an early 7 to get Brice to New Student Orientation at 7:30 AM! As  I struggled to get out of bed, Brice so kindly reminded me my first class tomorrow is at 7 am. oops! Good thing it is an Athletic Training Lab, so I could practically sleep in workout clothes, wake up, brush my teeth, and get to class. Lazy much? After dropping Brice off I headed over to the gym and ran 10 miles in 1:20:00 and did twenty minutes of abs, squats, and push-ups. Now I'm showered and ready to go babysit for the Hunter Family. Miss them and Love them! I have nanny-ed for them since I came to school three years ago, but now I have a real job so today is probably the last time I will see them for a long while. Then its BBQ Porkchops with glazed pineapple and coconut rice and broccoli for dinner. Hopefully I can sneak in an episode of Chopped or a game of speed scrabble and call it a day. The last day before school starts all too quickly.

When I think of my college years, the Hunters will be my first and most cherished thoughts

Ringing in the New Year with a new race.
St George Half Marathon on January 21st.
I've been running 55-70 miles each week so I think I should be good, but I'd like to finish in 1:30:00 or so... we'll see!
If you see me running around Provo, give me a honk!
