Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers in our lives. I feel so lucky to have a father and father-in law that are kind and fun and great examples of the Savior.
Today, especially though I look at Brice, the father in my life everyday who is the biggest help and the best dad. He is the kid's favorite to wrestle, tickle, and play with. He builds the best things with duplos. He's the only one that will volunteer to make pancakes or bake cookies. HE's the one that suggests we have dessert that night. He's great at teaching new songs, disciplining without losing his cool, and loves being greeted at the door each day.
We think you're the best babe and you are loved by everyone in our little family. I sure hope you feel it.

Enjoy your new "dad things" like hair gel, t-shirts and a razor!

We are blessed with wonderful examples of loving and thoughtful fathers. I am so grateful for a loving father who has been a wonderful example of service and love towards others. He has supported me through years of soccer games and practices, school events, piano lessons, tears over boyfriends and friends, and now my own little family. I am so grateful for my father in law, Doug too! He is a wonderful example of quiet and humble service. He is always happy to help or offer advice and I really enjoy learning more from him and his testimony.

Today, I am most grateful though for Brice.
He has blessed me with two wonderful children who I feel privileged to be mothering. Brice works hard without any complaint each week to provide for our family. He loves to get his hands dirty and feels most accomplished when he's made something himself. He is a logical thinker who has to stretch to deal with my feelings, but he puts forth an effort and I am grateful. Brice is quick to change diapers, play duplos, read books, take Hazel outside for a wander, and say I love you.

Babe, one day our kids will thank them yourself, but for now I'll say it!
Happy Father's Day. We love you so much!!
I am so especially grateful for my dad.

He has always been supportive and quick to lend a listening ear. I remember in high school when lots of my friends would be complaining about their parents and all I could think about was how lucky I was for my parents. My dad would sit there and listen to me talk about my "big boy problems" and every other little thing. So thank you for listening, for driving to all those soccer games, for singing down in the valley, for teaching me about hard work, and for setting a wonderful example of scripture study and a love for the gospel.

I am so grateful for my Father-in-law, Doug too! I enjoy spending time with him and learning more about his life and his hobbies! Thank you for being a wonderful father and a great example of a worthy husband and priesthood holder.
P.S. Thanks for running with me that cold winter in Waterloo during Christmas break- I don't know if you remember it but I sure do!

Now to my favorite father on this Father's Day- Brice! I couldn't be more happy than when these two are together and when i hear sweet baby giggles and squeals because her dad is bouncing her on the bed and giving her raspberries! Brice is a wonderful dad who isn't afraid of dirty diapers, loves taking Hazel on walks and adventures, and loves to cuddle a few more minutes before putting Hazel to bed for the night.
We love you Brice!
