We spent our Fourth of July weekend visiting friends in Houston, Texas.
We were so happy to visit with Weston & Kelsi Kunz and meet their sweet baby Ellie AND visit with Chris, Rosanne, Ariana, and McKenna Bick! It felt like a mini Provo reunion and just what i needed!

We spent the weekend swimming, BBQ-ing, celebrating Chris' Birthday, more swimming at night, a ward breakfast (which included potato sack races and hot potato), neighborhood walks, a game night, Cafe Rio pork salads, and too many cookies! The drive to and from went smoothly and we really loved seeing friends.

Thanks so much to the Kunz's and Bicks for hosting us- you're welcome in Dallas anytime :)
Before we leave Utah and cozy little Provo we have a few "bucket-list" items to get crossed off.

This weekend we watched the BYU Womens soccer team scrimmage against Utah and it was so nice to be out in the sun. Brice and I enjoyed watching the game and Hazel was thrilled to have so many stairs to climb up and down. That little girl has now mastered going up stairs on her own two feet without holding onto anything and going down like such a lady holding a railing. #itsthelittlethings

After the game I finally sucked it up  was forced and went to this little Chilean restaurant in Provo that Brice has been asking over and over for us to try. It wasn't scary- it was good and the couple that owned the restaurant were so sweet and watching them do their thing made me happy. I ordered my own food and shared it with Hazelbug and we all survived!

I don't ever mean to be a big stinker about food but i have likes and dislikes and on the weekends after I've cooked for Brice all week sometimes I just want to pick a place to eat at and not be all adventurous. Does that make me the worst? I really don't think so...

After dinner we had a few couples over for games and chatting and it was so fun! I have loved the friends we have made here and really hope we all keep up on each others lives. We are really going to miss so many people but we are so excited to start a life in Dallas!
Saturday night we went to the BYU game with our good friends- Kyle, Crystal, Trey, and Kajsa. BYU lost but it was a fun night.

Monday night we went to the JAZZ game with Melanie and Kris! It was such an exciting game. Utah was down the whole game until the 4th quarter and then they pulled through!

Basketball has kept us busy..along with everything else

We had such a fun Family Home Evening last night with our friends, Kyle and Crystal Sherman and their cute kiddos Trey and Kajsa. We made caramel apples with lots of different goodies on top. I favored the mini M&M's and Brice went for the Reeses peanut butter cups. They don't necessarily look so pretty, but they tasted really yummy! Trey mostly just snacked on all the treats :)
We also worried about the right way to melt chocolate over the stove, taught Trey the 'Hokey-Pokey" and watched our neighbors throw pumpkins off our porch for a movie scene they're were filming. For a Monday night, we were busy and wouldn't have had it anyway. these kiddos are so cute. Trey always calls Brice "Brice-y" and I hope he never stops!

Thanks Shermans for coming over. - Breann
This weekend we stayed busy with sporting events! Friday night we went to the BYU vs University Central Florida football game! We went with our cool friends, The Catts. Check out her blog Life Full of People she's sweet, crafty, a good talker, and one of my closest friends. The boys really enjoyed the game, all their hooping and hollering and stomping, Michelle and I tried to sing the fight song, and well the little girl next to us really wasn't enjoying it at all.

On Saturday we cleaned, worked-out, ate chips, and went to the UVU vs Montana soccer game. A sweet friend from high school, Kristen is a keeper for Montana and she invited us to come watch. We were happy to lay a blanket out on the grass and watch the game.
Sunday was calm with early church, meetings, and home/visiting teaching. Skyping and napping of course.
P.S. Brice just helped me create this table and make it all fancy using HTML. Now I can cross that off my bucket list and never do it again!
